Crazy celebration by Virat Kohli: Though runs haven’t come from Virat Kohli’s bat during this Edgbaston Test against hosts England, he has been as energetic and lively in the field as ever.
From egging the crowd to cheer for his bowler – it may be the opposition’s home ground but it feels like India’s – to initiating a verbal spat with the in-form Jonny Bairstow, and then his maniac, extremely energetic, a madcap celebration of Alex Lees’ run-out which has gone viral now.
Wild Celebration By Virat Kohli Has Gone Viral

In pursuit of a *realistic* target of 378, Lees had got England off to a rollicking start smashing 56 quick runs as he and Zak Crawley brought up the century opening partnership inside 20 overs! #BazBall
Indian skipper Jasprit Bumrah then stormed India back with twin strikes -that of Crawley and Ollie Pope. One brings two, two brings three: Alex Lees then got run out after a mix-up with Joe Root.
England had had a few quite overs and needed a regain of their lost momentum. In a bid for that, non-striker Root ran as soon as Lees inside-edged a Ravindra Jadeja delivery that went toward fine leg where Mohammed Shami was positioned.
While Lees turned his head around and was ball watching, Root was already halfway down the pitch and by the time he observed Root there and took off for the run, it was already too late as Shami had cleanly picked up the ball and realised the situation he had thrown it at the bowler’s end. Jadeja grabbed the ball calmly and affected the run-out.
Oh, the scenes then. While Jadeja and all other fielders nearby ran toward Shami, Virat Kohli went the other way. His energy was palpable; running wildly across the pitch on the other side, Kohli was air fist-bumping, screaming, and you-know-what he was shouting!
