Virat Kohli Gave A Special Surprise To RCB Fans On Day 1

Batting maestro Virat Kohli is one of the most entertaining cricketers ever. Though, in the ongoing 2nd Test against Sri Lanka, he couldn’t entertain the crowd at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for too long with the bat as he was dismissed after scoring only 23 runs but he was seen having some fun in the second innings as he interacted with the crowd.

For the unversed, the ongoing second Test match between India and Sri Lanka is a special occasion for the cricket lovers in Bangalore as it saw the return of international cricket to Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium after a gap of two years. In fact, even IPL has not come to the city since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The match also saw the Bengaluru crowd reuniting with their adopted hero Virat Kohli, who has been playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL since the inception of the cash-rich league. Virat’s crazy fan following was witnessed during the game, however, it was his reaction to the crowd’s chants that stole all the attention.

While the fans were going crazy with the chants of “RCB RCB” and “Kohli, Kohli”, Virat showed his love for the franchise as he wore a red t-shirt beneath his Indian Test jersey and even went on to display it, responding to the chants.
