The Coronavirus outbreak has led to the postponement of IPL 2020, and, in all likelihood, the tournament will be canceled as every effort is being in India by the Narendra Modi government to save our lives and future. However, when the clock 8:00 PM on Sunday, came out in numbers on the micro-blogging website Twitter and expressed their sadness over the postponement and possible cancelation of IPL 2020.
#MIvsCSK was the top trending topic on Twitter from 7:30 PM to almost 9:00 PM as Indian cricket fans expressed their anguish in the form of tweets. While it is true that IPL holds no importance in the current scenario as the whole world is fighting the coronavirus pandemic and the only goal for India, right now, is to save lives.
There is only one way in which we can fight coronavirus and that is–social distancing. And this is why there is no chance that the BCCI will go on with the IPL under these circumstances. The honorable President of the BCCI, Mr. Sourav Ganguly has said that he can’t say anything on the possibilities of IPL 2020 as nothing has changed in the last 10 days.
“I can’t say anything at the moment. We are at the same place where we were on the day we postponed. Nothing has changed in the last 10 days. So, I don’t have an answer to it. Status quo remains,” Sourav Ganguly told PTI.
However, it was a bit of a reality check for the Indian cricket fans and here are 10 tweets that show how much we are going to miss the IPL this year.

At this time in #MIvCSK we would be wondering if Dhoni’s approach of taking time would pay off or not.
