Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is hailed as one of the most talented bowlers to have played for India. Last year in December he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He ended his glorious career with 417 417 Test wickets, 269 ODI wickets, and 25 T20I wickets. He has been a part of many memorable and iconic games of the Indian cricket team including the World Cup 2011 final.

Harbhajan Singh has picked his all-time Test XI and has surprisingly not picked MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in his red-ball squad. There are only two Indian cricketers in Harbhajan Singh’s all-time Test XI – Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar.

For the opening position, Bhajji has picked Alastair Cook and Virender Sehwag. Singh hailed Sehwag as the modern-day Viv Richards and lauded him for playing the fearless brand of cricket. Moving further in his lineup, he chose West Indies legend Brian Lara at number three, followed by the Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar at number 4.

Harbhajan Singh named Steve Waugh as the captain of his side while picking him to bat at number 5. Jacques Kallis was been named at the number 6 position all thanks to his impressive all-around skills. Kumar Sangakkara will keep the wickets while Shane Warne is the sole spinner in the playing XI. For the bowling attack, Bhaji picked Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath and James Anderson.

Muttiah Muralidaran, who stands to be the highest wicket-taker to date in the longest format of the game, is picked as the 12th man in Bhajji’s all-time Test XI.
