Jofra Archer Predicted Russia’s Invasion Of Ukraine In 2014: The world has been left stunned since early on Thursday when Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in Ukraine and warned other countries that any attempt to interfere with the Russian action would lead to “consequences they have never seen.”

The Russian army invaded the cities of Ukraine by land, air and sea on Thursday, the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since World War Two.

Following Russia’s all-out invasion of Ukraine, the netizens couldn’t keep calm. While a meme fest began on Twitter and other social media platforms, fans also dug out one of the tweets from the past of England speedster Jofra Archer, whose tweets from the past years often associate with events in the future.

Now, one of his tweets from 2014 has got the fans in shock, and in splits. A tweet that says “Come on russia!” has gone viral and this has got the Twitterati amazed.

Well, this tweet from Archer, we believe, came when he was perhaps watching the 2014 FIFA World Cup, when on the tweet’s date – 22 June 2014 – Russia was playing a football World Cup game against Belgium.

Speaking about Archer, the fast bowler was recently bought by Mumbai Indians at the IPL 2022 mega-auction for a hefty sum of INR 8 crore. Archer, however, is unlikely to be available for this year’s IPL as he continues to recover from his elbow injury after undergoing a second operation.

Archer hasn’t played any high-profile game since July last year when his elbow injury flared up once again. He missed the T20 World Cup and the Ashes and now is expected to make a comeback with still a few months to go.
Mumbai Indians, however, bought the services of Archer, who was the MVP in IPL 2020, keeping the future in mind.

This is what owner Aakash Ambani said about their acquisition of the 2019 World Cup winner Archer: “Jofra has been a player Mahela gave his first professional debut too. So happy to have got him. So happy to have Jof and Boom making a lethal bowling attack, although next year.”

Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer will make perhaps the deadliest fast bowling pair in the IPL, and this has got the fans excited.
