After the match in an interview, Chris Lynn said that he would rather hit sixes than sitting at home because of the scare of Coronavirus. He said:
I generally just like winning and if I go home I have to sit in isolation for two weeks so I would rather be playing here and hitting sixes. I would have missed out on it if I had gone home,”

Lahore Qalandars is the only team that has all its overseas players available till now. Talking about the same, he said:
The situation is different in England as compared to Australia but I’m really proud of the Qalandars’ overseas playing group because they stuck together. We do have a player leaving tonight but he has obviously got a young kid and family comes first because that is a big thing in this franchise and we stick by that,”
However, he would have to leave for home before the semi-finals because of the border restriction and Coronavirus scare. But before leaving, he left an inspiring message for his teammates. He had said:
I think we play our best cricket when our backs are against the wall and I think we are coming good at the right time. We are playing good and if we play really go, watch out,”

We have got a point to prove against them [Karachi Kings] because they beat us by ten wickets the other night. We are back on our home turf and we get to have another crack at it. I think they are the team to beat because they are well structured and well balanced,
