Australian opener David Warner left everyone in splits after he asked a hilarious question to his new Indian Premier League(IPL) team, Delhi Capitals(DC). Warner, who led the Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) to an IPL trophy in 2016 was roped in by Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2022 mega-auctions. He had registered himself at a base price of INR 2 crores and was bought in by Delhi Capitals for INR 6.25 crores.
Though, there is still some time left for the action to begin in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, David Warner, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor is already making news.
Well, recently, Warner trolled his new franchise by re-sharing a picture of him, that was earlier shared by the franchise after the mega-auction. On Tuesday, Warner took to his social media and trolled Delhi Capitals by asking whether the franchise has put his head over the body of former DC player Marcus Stoinis.
Well, Warner felt that the franchise has pasted his head on top of a different picture, possibly of Marcus. Sharing the picture, Warner wrote: “Is my head on @marcusstoinis body?? ?? #funny #cricket @delhicapitals”

Delhi Capitals was quick to notice the post and come up with a reply to it. In their reply, DC wrote: “It’s not Stoin ? Hint: The player is still with DC ”
For the unversed, Marcus Stoinis was bought by the new IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants and he became one of the top players to leave Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2022.
Meanwhile, Warner is expected to miss the initial stages of the 2022 edition of the IPL as he will be available from April 6 and will join the team approximately a week or more later than the tournament’s beginning.
