India’s young and talented wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant made everyone feel nostalgic as he smashed the iconic helicopter shot during his fiery knock in the ongoing 2nd T20I against West Indies at the Eden Garden in Kolkata.

Rishabh Pant played a stunning knock of 50 runs from 28 balls and during his knock smashed 7 boundaries and a six. During his knock, Rishabh Pant smashed an unbelievable one-handed six which looked like a new version of the iconic helicopter shot, which is popular among the fans because of the legendary MS Dhoni.

Well, after getting a strong start from the top-order, especially Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant never really slowed down during his knock and went on display his attacking and unorthodox shots. During the 18th over of the Indian innings, Rishabh Pant hit an outstanding helicopter shot, however, he added a little twist in that iconic shot of MSD.

The incident took place on the first ball of the 18th over during India’s batting as Rishabh Pant smashed West Indies bowler Jason Holder for a stunning one-handed six over the wide long-on region. West Indies pacer Jason Holder bowled a full toss and Pant accepted it as a gift as he smashed it for a stunning six.

The video of that shot has been going viral on the internet and has made everyone nostalgic. Here, watch the video:
