Rohit Sharma Slammed Yuzvendra Chahal For Being Lazy On The Field

India’s captain Rohit Sharma kickstarted his tenure as the new ODI skipper in a blockbuster way by defeating West Indies in the ongoing 3-match ODI series. Rohit Sharma impressed one and all with his amazing captaincy as he was brilliant throughout, however, there was a moment when he wasn’t really happy with Yuzvendra Chahal while setting the field.

Well, the stump-mic has been loud enough for the viewers sitting at the home and watching the games to be able to catch what is being said on-field by the players. And the conversation between Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal was caught on the stump-mic. Skipper Rohit was heard scolding the leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal for being lazy on the field.

The incident took place before the start of the 45th over of the West Indies innings, Rohit was setting the field and unhappy with Chahal’s running speed. Rohit asked him what happened and why he wasn’t sprinting towards his field position.

West Indies’ all-rounder Odean Smith had made the game interesting with two lusty blows off Shardul Thakur and Rohit had to find a way to slip in the remaining two overs of the fifth bowler and he yelled at Yuzvendra Chahal by saying:

Kya hua terko? Bhaag kyun nahi raha hai theek se? Chal udhar bhaag (What happened to you? Why are you not running properly? Go and field there [long-off]).”

The video of the same has been going crazily viral on the internet. Here, watch the video:
