India’s ace tennis player Sania Mirza said that her husband and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik is blessed with a super fit body as she appreciated him for his healthy lifestyle.
Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are hailed as one of the most loved power-couples around the world. Over the years, the couple has inspired many with their love story and with their professional performances in their respective fields.
Former Pakistani skipper Shoaib Malik, who recently turned 40 and it seems like he still has a lot of cricket left in him and has no plans to retire from cricket.
In her latest interview, Sania Mirza showered praises on her husband as she called him the epitome of a healthy lifestyle. Shoaib Malik, who made his debut in the year 1999, still looks fit and fine to continue to impress with his batting performance along with being a live wire in the field.
Speaking to Cricket Pakistan, Sania Mirza also talked about her future plans with her husband. She said: “Shoaib is exceptional and is so blessed. He really works hard on himself to stay at his best. He is a very good example of a healthy lifestyle. He can definitely in my opinion and I have said this to him that if you can mentally take the pressure, so play for two more years,”
She added:
“We thoroughly enjoyed the launch of our perfume and that was different for the both of us. Like the perfume launch, we are thinking of getting into other businesses and exploring other avenues. You might have to ask Shoaib about his decision but for me personally, I am too camera shy to be an actor,”
She also disclosed that they are in talks for the biopic of Shoaib and Sania. She said:
“Yes, we are in conversation with some people regarding the biopic. The process has been slowed down a lot due to the pandemic but yes, our contact is with the people.”
Further, the tennis star added that she and Shoaib Malik take advice from each other but refrain from interfering in each other’s professional matters. Sania Mirza, who’ll retire from tennis by the end of 2022, also cleared that the decision of her retirement was solely taken by her. She said:
“We value and support each other but, in the end, we always go with our gut as we both are professional athletes. We are playing for many years. He has always been supportive and he told me that he’s behind this decision.”
