Responding to the question, Umar Gul recalled his Player of the Match performance against Proteas as a batter in the T20 World Cup 2012. Calling himself a better batsman, Umar said:

“Harbhajan Singh has also batted well, but I have won a Player of the Match in a World Cup game for my batting. So, it means that I am better than Harbhajan Singh when it comes batting.”

For the unversed, Umar Gul played a stunning knock of 32 runs off 17-balls to help his team win the match against the South African side during the 2012 T20 World Cup.

Umar Gul, who made his international debut in 2003, has had great success in white-ball cricket. He picked up 85 wickets in 60 T20 internationals at an average of 17. He was regarded as one of the quickest bowlers going around in his time.

On the other hand, talking about Harbhajan Singh the star bowler has played some amazing knocks down the order for the Indian cricket team. He even has two tons and nine half-centuries registered under his name in the longest format of the game.
