The India Maharajas team is taking on Asia Team in the first match of the ongoing Legends League Cricket 2022 and the India Maharajas have made a stunning start to the game. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who is hailed as one of the most talented all-rounders to have played for India, made everyone nostalgic as he breathed fire and picked up two wickets in his first over, removing two of the biggest names of the Pakistan cricket team.
The fans turned the clock back as fans remembered how Irfan Pathan bowled the dream first over in the 3rd Test match between India and Pakistan in Karachi in 2006. During that match, Irfan had picked a hat-trick in the first over of the Test, removing some of the biggest names in Pakistan cricket, including Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan.
Now coming to this game, looks like Irfan Pathan has still got it in him. Coming onto the bowl for India Maharajas in the first match of the inaugural edition of the Legends League Cricket, Irfan picked two wickets – Mohammad Yousuf and Mohammad Hafeez, at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman.
The Asian Lions were reduced to 80 for 4 after Irfan’s double strike in Al Amerat.
