Australia swashbuckling opener David Warner is currently in his red-hot avatar and has been having a great time in the ongoing Ashes 2021-2022 series thus far. He has scored the most runs in the ongoing Ashes series. In the 4 games that he has played, Warner has managed to score 270 runs at an average of 54.00. Though, he is yet to score a century but he has scored 90+ scores twice.
Earlier, Warner also played an instrumental role in helping his team win their maiden T20 World Cup trophy. He has also been adjudged the Player of the Tournament for his tremendous effort for Australia. However, before he bounced back into the form, he had to face a lot of humiliation.
David Warner, who led the Hyderabad-based outfit to its maiden title win back in 2016, was sacked from the position of captaincy midway following a few poor knocks. Not just this, he was also discarded from the playing XI of the team and was made to sit on the stands. But there were no positive results visible as SRH endured their worst ever season as they ended 8th on the points table with only three wins and six points.
Recently, in an interview with sports journalist Boria Majumdar, David Warner opened up about the roller-coaster ride that he endured last year. Warner got candid about a lot of things, from being removed as SRH captaincy to winning the Man of the Tournament award for his team.
Fans are hailing Warner for his candid interview. Apart from the fans, David Warner’s wife Candice Warner is also very impressed with the interview of David Warner. On Saturday, Candice took to Twitter and called this interview ‘one of the best interviews of David Warner’. She wrote:
