India’s pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah stole the show with his small cameo with the bat during the first innings of the ongoing second Test match against South Africa in Johannesburg. Jasprit Bumrah smashed a few stunning shots that not just the fans in awe but also left a smile on the TV Presenter and Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan.
Jasprit Bumrah walked out to bat after the dismissal of Mohammed Shami and he played a small cameo to help the Indian side post a total of 200 runs on the scoreboard. Jasprit scored14 runs off 11 balls and all his runs came in a single over bowled by Rabada, who is hailed as one of the world’s best bowlers.
It was in the 62nd over of Indian’s first innings, Jasprit Bumrah decided to take on Kagiso Rabada and hit him all over the park. Bumrahs’s brilliant cameo also involved a six off a well-directed bouncer, which is quite the achievement, especially for a tail-ender.
It was on the third ball of the over, the South African speedster bowled a short ball but Bumrah had already made his mind to smash the shot. Bumrah smashed the ball of Rabada and sent the ball sailing over for a four.
Jasprit’s wife Sanjana Ganesan, who was standing in the stands, seemed to enjoy the six as she was spotted clapping along with other fellows Team India WAGs. Sanjana looked happy and was all smiles after the camera caught her reaction to the maximum smashed by Bumrah.
