At the end of the 60th over, Jasprit Bumrah was finally eligible to bowl. At that time, Proteas’ Rabada and Maharaj were building a decent partnership for their side. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli was delighted to see Jasprit Bumrah finally return back to the field.
Virat was so happy to see his go-to bowler back on the field, that he was heard saying “Finally, the Rock has come back.”
For the unversed, “Finally, the Rock has come back”, this dialogue became famous after the WWE rockstar The Rock returned back in 2011 after the 8-year hiatus.
Meanwhile, the stump-mic recording went instantly viral on social media and invited reactions from the fans to it.
