Former cricketer and the current Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ramiz Raja gave a hilarious reply to a journalist who asked him whether he miss doing commentary.

Ramiz Raja started his tenure as the PCB’s chairman on a brilliant note as the Pakistani cricket team has been doing amazingly well. In fact, it won’t be wrong to say that the Pakistan cricket team was the dark horse of the T20 World Cup 2021. The team did exceedingly better than most of the world thought about them.

While the Pakistan team has been doing exceptionally well in terms of games, on the other hand, the PCB has been gripped with a lot of controversies at this time. More often than not, PCB’s chairman Ramiz Raja finds himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling because of the controversies and remarks of the board.

Recently, in an interview, PCB’s chairman Ramiz Raja was asked about his return to the commentary box. Ramiz Raja, who has been one of the most popular voices in the commentary box, came up with a hilarious reply responding to the journalist.

In his reply, Ramiz said that he has kept the doors open for returning back to the commentary box. He said:

“See, jaise hi mujhe gaaliya padengi na main wapas commentary mei chala jaaunga. Maine apna darwaza khola hua hai. Abhi 3 mahine mujhe kamm padi hai gaali”

Meanwhile, Ramiz also opened up about why he has increased the remuneration of players soon after taking over as Chairman in September. He said:

“I want these players to be earning well but they also have responsibilities towards Pakistan cricket and the sport.”
