Twitter Went Berserk After Shahrukh Khan’s Blistering Knock

It was a blockbuster show at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, as Shahrukh Khan does an MS Dhoni and led his team Tamil Nadu to Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy win with the last-ball six. Five runs were needed off the last ball and it was Tamil Nadu’s sensational batsman Shahrukh Khan who took the match away as he smashed the winning runs against Karnataka in the final clash of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Shahrukh Khan played a stunning cameo of 33-runs off 15 balls that helped Tamil Nadu win the thrilling match by 4 wickets. Shahrukh Khan Chasing a target of 152 runs, Tamil Nadu got off to a powerful start as openers Hari Nishanth and N Jagadeeshan put on 29 runs for the first wicket. However, the partnership soon came to an end as Nishanth was sent back to the pavilion.

Jagadeesan was then joined by Sai Sudharsan in the middle and the duo kept on moving the scoreboard at a brisk pace. Karan Nair provided the much-needed breakthrough to Karnataka by getting rid of Sudharsan (9) reducing Tamil Nadu to 51/2 in the eighth over.

Though, the Karnataka bowlers managed to pick wickets at regular intervals but they failed to restrict them from chasing the target. Following the dismissal of Shankar (18) and Jagadeeshan (41) dismissal, the match looked in favor of Karnataka, however, Shahrukh Khan had some other plans.

Shahrukh Khan walked in with all guns blazing as he smashed the Karnataka bowlers to all the corners of the ground while playing a crucial knock of 33-runs off 15 balls. He changed the complexion of the game with his knock, smashing 3 sixes and a boundary. Later, he was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ trophy.
