Pakistan’s pacer Hasan Ali has been subjected to heavy trolling and criticism, ever since Pakistan lost the high-voltage semi-final clash against Australia, which resulted in Pakistan’s ouster in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. Hasan Ali has been receiving criticism from all corners, in fact, he became the target of abuses and threats of Pakistani fans.
This is mainly because he had dropped Australia’s Matthew Wade in the 19th over, following which, the batter went bonkers with the bat and smashed three stunning sixes to help his team wrap up the game with an over to spare.
While he has been receiving criticism from all corners, several cricketers from around the world have come out in support of the pacer including the likes of Virender Sehwag, Shoaib Akhtar, and many more. He even found support from Indian fans on social media.
Meanwhile, Hasan Ali has finally come out of the shell and has opened up about the incident for the very first time since he dropped Matthew Wade’s catch. Hasan Ali took to his Twitter and expressed his emotions about the dropped catch and the events that took place afterward. He wrote:
“I know you all are upset because my performance didn’t meet your expectations from me but not more disappointed than me. Don’t change your expectations from me. I want to serve Pakistan cricket at the highest level possible, so back to hard work. This patch will make me stronger so Alhumudilah. Thank you for all the messages.”
