Watch: David Warner Tried To Do A Cristiano Ronaldo But Told To Put Bottles Back

Australian star opener, David Warner has been receiving praises from all corners as he played a crucial knock to help his team defeat Sri Lanka in the match last night. His knock also marked his comeback into his beast mode as he notched an important half-century for his team. Warner, who was under the scanner for a long time after a lean run, was back to his best against Sri Lanka.

While he grabbed all the spotlight last night for his sensational comeback, on the other hand, he left everyone in splits after he tried to copy Christiano Ronaldo at a presser.

Well, a hilarious incident took place after the match during a presser, when David Warner tried to copy Christiano Ronaldo. Well, Warner tried to copy Ronaldo’s act by removing Coca-Cola bottles from his table during a press conference.

The legendary football player, Christiano Ronaldo had performed this stunt during Euro 2020 and caused the company’s share price to fall by $4billion. David Warner tried to pull off a similar stunt after their win against Sri Lanka, however, he failed miserably.

Warner sat down at the presser and saw two Coca-Cola bottles in front of him. He went on to remove them from the table, leaving only water bottles there. “Can I move these?,” Warner asked.

Soon after his action, an official came and spoke to him, after which Warner put the bottles back on the table and asked: “Do I have to put it there?” He went on to say: “If it’s good enough for Cristiano, it’s good enough for me.”
