Australian journalist Dennis Freedman has been on the receiving end of the anger of Indian cricket team fans after he posted a series of insulting tweets for team India and the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli after they suffered a humiliating defeat by Pakistan.
Well, the much-awaited clash of the t20 World Cup between arch-rivals India and Pakistan ended up on a rather heartbreaking note for the Indian cricket team as Babar Azam’s side thrashed them with a 10-wicket victory in Dubai.
The Pakistan cricket team outperformed India last night to break the winning streak of India to 12-1. Prior to this game, the Indian team had defeated Pakistan in all 12 games at the World Cups. Yes, this was the first time in history that Pakistan has been able to get on the nerves of India in a World Cup event.
Meanwhile, an Australian cricket writer posted a series of tweets insulting the Indian team and skipper after the defeat.
For the unversed, Dennis Freedman, who is a well-known cricket journalist, is infamous for his posts and tweets on social media. Dennis is a big fan of the Pakistan cricket team and is often seen making insulting remarks about India and Indian cricketers. He leaves no stone unturned to appease his followers from Pakistan and often crosses the line while talking about Indians.
