Former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif visited the popular ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as guests on Saturday (September 25). While Virender Sehwag has previously appeared on the show as the guest, this will be the first time that Kaif will be visiting the laughter show hosted by the popular Kapil Sharma.

During the episode, the cricketing duo relived many of their cricketing stories from back in the day as both the cricketers kept narrating several light-hearted stories.

Talking about one such incident, Mohammad Kaif revealed how he once planned to humiliate former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. Well, it all started after the host Kapil Sharma recalled an incident that involved Kaif and Akhtar, at the time when former Pakistani bowler was taking a run-up and instead of playing on the backfoot, Kaif moved a few steps forward, which eventually caused the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ to break his rhythm and not bowl.

Speaking about the incident, Kaif admitted that he wanted to humiliate him a little. He said: “Thodi mujhe unki beizzati karni thi (which roughly translates to: I wanted to humiliate him a little)”

Furthermore, Kaif revealed his plan of putting off the Rawalpindi Express, who in his heyday regularly clocked 90 miles per hour on the speed gun. He revealed:

“Kyunki woh naamcheen gendbaaz, unka run-up itna lamba. Sehwag ne toh bohot chakke maare, hume mauka kum mila khelne ka. Woh jab aaye, main bhi walk kar gaya. Bowling unhone kari nahi, rok di (which roughly translates to: He is a famous bowler with such a long run-up. Sehwag got a chance to hit a lot of sixes but I did not get a chance to bat as much, as I was lower in the batting order. So when Akhtar came towards me, I walked too. He did not end up bowling that ball to me),”

He added:

“Main aage jaaunga, yeh banda ruk jayega, bowling karega nahi. Wohi mera plan tha, kaamyaab hua, ki inki zara beizzati karta hoon Pakistan mein jaake (which roughly translates to: I thought I would go a few steps ahead, he won’t bowl to me. That was my plan, to go to Pakistan and humiliate him, and it succeeded),”
