After entertaining the fans amidst the pandemic, the Indian Premier League 2021 came to an end with Chennai Super Kings emerging as champions. Social media has been buzzing with tweets and posts for the Dhoni-led team, who lifted their fourth IPL trophy beating Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs.

It was the fourth IPL title won by Chennai Super Kings (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021) under the captaincy of legendary cricketer MS Dhoni, who has been leading the Yellow Army ever since the inception of this league.

However, it wasn’t just the players from the Chennai Super Kings who dominated the social media after their incredible win last night. but also the commentators at the event who stole the show thanks to outfits they were wearing.

Well, as the final clash between CSK and KKR coincided with Dusherra or Vijay Dashami, all the commentators and broadcasters were seen donning colorful ethnic wears. While they looked great wearing the colorful kurtas during the final in the UAE seems to have piqued fans’ interest.

Wearing Kurta-Pajamas, the look of commentators reminded everyone of the desi Indian weddings and festivals, kickstarting a meme fest on social media. Social media has been buzzing with hilarious memes and jokes on some of the pictures of commentators, dressed in Kurta-Pajamas.

While a picture of Sunil Gavaskar and Matthew Hayden reminded some of the fans of the after-wedding scenes at home, on the other hand, a group picture of the commentators reminded everyone of men going to the office on festive days wearing traditional outfits.
