With the upcoming T2o World Cup all set to kickstart in a few days, fans just can’t wait for the eagerly anticipated India-Pakistan clash in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Ahead of the high-octane clash between the two arch-rivals, Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the high-voltage tournament, brings back the iconic ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign with an interesting twist.

For the unversed, the ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign is a part of cricketing folklore, which was first introduced before the 2015 ICC World Cup. It is a perfect combination of cheeky humor and friendly banter, making it relatable and funny.

India and Pakistan will face each other in the upcoming T20 World Cup on October 24. the match will commence live at 7:30 AM IST, live from the Dubai International Stadium. The Mauka-Mauka advertisement became popular in India before India has defeated Pakistan in 7 consecutive World Cup matches, five of those victories coming in the T20 format.

In the ‘Mauka-Mauka’ ad released by Star Sports, a young Pakistani supporter can be seen enquiring about TV for upcoming India vs Pakistan clash, after buying fire-crackers. The fan is seen telling the Indian shop owner how Babar Azam and Rizwan will smash the Indian bowlers for sixes, resulting in several glasses being broken in Delhi. However, in return, he is interestingly presented with two televisions, because of previous results between the two sides.

The shop owner then tells the Pakistani fan that when it comes to T20 World Cups, the Men in Green have lost to India on all five occasions. Hence, their firecrackers will have to wait and since they will be still interested in ‘bursting something,’ he presents them with two TVs instead of one. The shopkeeper explains that two televisions are being given to ‘Buy 1 and Break 1 free.’

Later, a flashback is shown where the Pakistani fan can be seen breaking his television after a defeat to India in 2012.
