Yuzvendra Chahal, who is hailed as one of the sensational bowlers in the white-ball format of the game, was left out of India’s 15-man T20 World Cup squad that was picked last month. The selectors had named a squad with five specialist spinners, also recalling Ravichandran Ashwin for the big tournament. However, the fans were left disappointed with the omission of Chahal from the Indian squad.

The Indian squad for the T20 World Cup can be changed till October 10 and the Indian cricketers, including Yuzvendra Chahal, are giving their best to make it to the Indian squad.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who was going through a tough phase, has made a quick turnaround in the UAE leg of the tournament, where he has scalped 10 wickets in five fixtures to make a case for the Chahal’s inclusion in the team.

Recently, Chahal took to his Twitter and shared a few pictures of himself. Sharing the pictures, Chahal wrote how he has been on the edge of his seat for the rest of the tournament. He also said that he is ready to give his 100 percent on-field. He wrote:

“On the edge of my seat for the rest of the #IPL with @RCBTweets. Ready to give my 100 percent.”

In his Tweet, Bhajji remained optimistic about Chahal’s chances of making it into the squad, given all the teams have time until October 10 to revise their squads. He said:

” You have given ur best as always. keep it up. and make sure u keep bowling the right pace… Not too slow OK… still hoping to see you in team India for T20 World Cup.. Champion bowler”.
