The players of Afghanistan have been gaining a huge fan following and earning in millions because of their thrilling performances in the T20 formats. The Afghanistan players have been playing as a threat to the world records.

In the recently going T20 series, on Wednesday, the keeper-batsman Shafiqullah Shafaq broke the previous records for the fastest double century in the world.
Shafiqullah made a new record by making double century in just 89 balls during the second innings against Boost region team.

He entered the ground when the scoreboard for his team was on 58/3, he came and took over the match by storm. Shafiqullah hit 2 fours and 6 sixes in the initial 29 balls and he scored a half century. Shafaqullah then hit 3 fours and 5 sixes in the next 23 balls to score a century in just 52 balls. He broke the previous records by doubling the score.
It isn’t the first time, that Shafiqullah has given an amazing performance like this, last year he scored 214 in 71 balls in a T20 game but doesn’t come under official records

Shafiqullah broke the record which was jointly held by Ravi Shastri and Aneurin Donald.
With that, Shafaqullah smashed 24 sixes in an innings and broke the record of most sixes in an FC innings. The record previously belonged to Colin Munrou, New Zealand’s player who smashed 23 balls, that too in the year 2013.

Thus, breaking two records in an single match, Shafiqullah, gave a jaw dropping performance.
