While the fever of Indian Premier League has already taken over the people of India, our athletes are already rocking in the ongoing Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast. And thankfully their efforts are not at all going in vain.
Even after all the excitement and thrill among the fans because of the much hyped Indian Premier League.
Our ‘Tiranga’ has been hoisted four times by now and the latest one has recently been hoisted because of Venkat Rahul Ragala, who has won the Gold medal in Weightlifting.
It was a very close competition between Venkat Rahul and an athlete from Samoa. However, Venkat Rahul grabbed the Gold medal and made India proud of him. And the fact that will make you even more proud is, all the gold medals that have been won in the weightlifting are won by India. Yes, India has won all the gold medals in weightlifting till now which states that our country has reached just another level in weightlifting.
Virendra Sehwag just like the complete nation was watching the brilliant performance of Venkat Rahul, as soon as he won the gold medal, Virendra Sehwag took to twitter and appreciated the athlete. He was so thrilled that he wrote a very sweet message for all the athletes playing for India.
