Yuvraj Singh is one of the best talents to have ever represented India. His form and fitness may have faded with time but we all know how heavily he contributed to Indian cricket and how good his potentials have been for India. Yuvraj Singh was the Man Of The Tournament in the 2011 World Cup and after that cancer took the better of him.

But he did not give up on his passion to play cricket and made a comeback even from the jaws of death. He is a champion who has defeated cancer to play again for India.

 

Now after having an illustrious career, there are a lot of speculations about Yuvraj  Singh’s career which has almost come to an end. Now the question that is often asked from Yuvraj is that when would he be retiring. Here’s what Yuvraj has to say about bidding farewell to cricket.

“I am looking forward to a good IPL. It’s a very important tournament for me as it will only set me to play cricket until 2019. I am looking to play cricket till 2019, whatever cricket I get to play and take a call after that,”

“Definitely, in the first 6-7 years of my career when I was at my best, I did not get a lot of opportunities because there were such great players in the (Test) team and when I got an opportunity I was diagnosed with cancer.

So that regret will always be there but these things are never in my control. I am just looking forward to whatever cricket I get to play,”
