A Journalist Tried To Insult Virat Kohli But Got Trolled By His Fans

Ever since Jasprit Bumrah delivered some lethal bouncers against James Anderson, things have heated up between both the teams in the middle. Now on Sunday, Virat Kohli took a stand for his bowler as he was seen giving it back to Anderson for saying some nasty things to Bumrah on Day 3.

Well, the India skipper Virat Kohli and England pacer James Anderson were seen indulging in a war of words with each other on day four of the second Test match at Lord’s.

The verbal spat between both the cricketing alphas was caught on the stump mic. While Anderson was walking back towards his bowling mark, Kohli was heard saying:

You are swearing at me? Like you did to Bumrah?. This isn’t your backyard”

Anderson must have said something more which was inaudible and Kohli was heard saying: “Yeah yeah yeah, Chirp chirp chirp”.

The video of the incident has been making rounds on the internet. Here, watch the video:

The video also caught the attention of a well-known cricket journalist, Dennis Freedman, who is infamous for his posts and tweets on social media. He is often seen making insulting remarks about India and Indian cricketers, in order to appease his followers from Pakistan.

He took to his Twitter and tried to insult Virat Kohli by asking the BCCI to drop him from the team. He also wrote that he should be banned by ICC for swearing on the TV like that. He said:

Kohli swearing on the TV coverage like that should be a ban according to ICC rules. The BCCI should save him the embarrassment and just drop him”
