Just when things looked like the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli will finally end the wait for his 71st century, he failed again. Virat was seen in a different mood today as he walked out to bat at number 4, after the dismissal of Rohit Sharma. He walked out to bat with the same old aggression and attitude. However, he failed to leave a mark with his performance, and fans were left disappointed once again.
While everyone was expecting a James Anderson vs Virat Kohli battle, it was Sam Curran who attacked Virat Kohli and sent him back to the pavilion. Virat could only manage to score 20 runs off 31 balls. During his knock, Virat smashed 4 stunning boundaries, filling the fans with hopes of his comeback.
The Indian cricket team is now in some deep trouble as the batters they were relying on in this Test match have already been dismissed. On the other, the batsmen who are on the field are yet to get some runs in this series.
So far, Kohli hasn’t looked at his best in the ongoing series, after having registered a duck in the first innings of the first Test followed by 42 runs in the first innings of the ongoing match at the Lord’s Stadium.
Meanwhile, the fans were left heartbroken after the disappointing dismissal of Virat Kohli in the second innings of the ongoing match. He has once again found himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling as he is getting brutally trolled by the fans. There were many who came up with hilarious jokes and memes, while trolling him.

Another disappointment from #Kohli. Out caught behind for 20(31)
India 56/3 (lead by 29 runs) – Rohit, Rahul & Virat all gone!
Rahane joins Pujara. Both are short on runs and confidence. Let’s see! #ENGvIND

Big wicket of Kohli. Sam Curran picks his first wicket of the match. England are on top. Challenge for India is to set 225+ target #ENGvIND

Sam Curran sends Virat Kohli back. Virat Kohli is struggling for the form in this series and no century for him since 2019.#ENGvIND pic.twitter.com/cJvFgrRtrB
