Aakash Chopra Reveals Why It Is Easy For India To Win The Series

Aakash Chopra Reveals Why It Is Easy For India To Win The Series: The chances of Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team winning the first Test match against England and lead the series with 1-0 in the ongoing series were ruined by rain. The final day of the 1st test match was washed out because of rain and the game ended up in a draw. On Monday, team India was off to London for the second Test match against England at Lord’s.

The second Test of the ongoing 5-match series will kickstart today and former Indian skipper Aakash Chopra feels that the ongoing series between both countries will be a close one.

Well, Aakash Chopra took to his Twitter and expressed that with the absence of key players like Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes, and Stuart Broad, everything is pointing towards things getting easier for India but he feels that it is going to be a closer series. He wrote:

First Jofra. Then Stokes pulled out. Now, Broad is injured. And Woakes hasn’t recovered yet. While everything is pointing towards things getting easier for India to clinch the series but I have a strong feeling that it’ll be a much closer series than most people think. #EngvInd”

For the unversed, Stuart Broad has been ruled out for the rest of the England vs India Test series. On Wednesday, Broad underwent an MRI scan, which revealed the tear that he suffered during a light warm-up jog ahead of training at Lord’s on the previous day.

Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes are also not available for the second Test match, leaving England’s team with the choice of fielding a second-choice seam attack. Earlier, England’s star bowler Jofra Archer was ruled out for the entire year after his latest stress fracture.
