The Indian star cricketer Rohit Sharma let down one and all with his casual dismissal of Ollie Robinson’s delivery. During the second day of the ongoing first Test of ongoing India’s tour of England, Indian star opener Rohit Sharma got off to an impressive start but once again ended up gifting his wicket to the opposition.
Rohit Sharma joined hands with KL Rahul to give a solid start to team India. India had an almost perfect opening session as the opening pair scored 76 runs together going into the last over before Lunch. The duo did well enough to keep the Indian cricket team at bay but Rohit’s attempt to dispatch Ollie Robinson’s short ball behind the square leg boundary backfired as he threw it away after doing all the hard work.

?Rohit Sharma once again fell in the 30s as he couldn’t resist himself when he saw a short ball from Ollie Robinson only to get caught by Sam Curran at deep fine leg. Ollie Robinson picked the wicket that England so desperately wanted at this time and this could well be the opening they needed. During his knock, Rohit smashed six boundaries.
Rohit was dismissed in a similar way in Australia, so it seems like the England bowlers had set a plan to trap Rohit Sharma with the short ball.
