Team India registered a series-clinching three-wicket win over Sri Lanka by defeating them in the second ODI match on Tuesday. Riding on the stellar performance by Deepak Chahar, the Indian cricket team led by Shikhar Dhawan helped his team register a memorable win.

Sri Lanka scored 275 for nine after opting to bat first. Now while chasing the target of  276 for a win, the top-order of the Indian squad failed to fire but a middle and lower order resurrection saw the team crossing the finishing line.  However, it was the performance of Deepak Chahar that has gained all the attention.

Deepak played brilliant shots, during his knock as he formed an exceptional partnership of 84-runs with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Despite the run rate going above six at one stage during the innings, both the cricketers maintained their calm.

Both Bhuvi and Chahar smashed the spinners and attack the pacers of Sri Lanka, who eventually crumbled under pressure.
