PCB Used Middle Finger Emoji In Hasan Ali’s Birthday Tweet

Pakistan’s star cricketer Hasan Ali is one of the most talented cricketers on Pakistan’s side. The cricketer recently turned 27 on 2nd July 2021 and his fans made sure to make his day more special for him. Hasan Ali received wishes from fans and cricketers from around the world.

Among many, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also took to their Twitter and wished their star cricketer on his birthday. However, with their tweet, PCB invited criticism and are getting trolled badly.

In their tweet, the Pakistan Cricket Board hailed the brilliance of Hasan Ali by sharing some extraordinary stats of the Pakistani cricketer on his birthday. PCB stated the number of matches played by Hasan Ali in international cricket. PCB also mentioned that he is the fastest bowler to take 50 ODI wickets for the Pakistan cricket team.

However, while stating other records of Hasan Ali, PCB used a middle finger emoji in their tweet and the same caught the attention of Twitterati. Though, soon PCB deleted the tweet but the harm was already done as the screenshots of the tweet are already going viral on social media.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board recently approached the ICC and has expressed its interest to host six ICC events from 2024 to 2031. Pakistan’s board wants to host two T20 World Cups in the year 2026 and 2028 and also the 50 over World Cups, which will take place in 2027 and 2031. Well, that’s not it, PCB also wants to host the Champions Trophy tournaments in 2025 and 2029. The PCB statement read:

“The Board of Governors (BoG) was informed that the PCB has submitted an expression of interest for six ICC Events in the 2024-31 cycle. Of these six events, the PCB is keen to host the three-venue ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and 2029 on its own.

While it has offered to host the remaining four events — two eight-venue ICC T20 World Cups 2026 and 2028, as well as the two 10-venue ICC Men’s Cricket World Cups 2027 and 2031 — in partnership with other Asian countries,”
