Afghanistan’s star cricketer Rashid Khan recently heaped praises on Indian skipper Virat Kohli, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and Babar Azam. All the three cricketers are known for their exceptional batting skills as well as managing their squad well.
Over the years, Rashid Khan has expressed his admiration for these three skippers. Rashid feels that these three skippers are great because of their natural game.
Recently, in interaction with Cricket Pakistan, Rashid Khan stated that the trio hit the ball through the ground more and is amazing when it comes to manipulating the field by playing risk-free cricket. He said:
“It is quite difficult (to compare the three batsmen) but no doubt Virat is a world-class player. Even Kane Williamson and Babar Azam are right up there. They know their limits and the shots they can play. The process with which they start and end their innings is very clear,”
Rashid Khan is busy playing in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 22-year-old plays for Lahore Qalandars, who are soon going to lock horns with Karachi Kings in an important match in the ongoing tournament.
Further, talking about Babar Azam, Rashid Khan knows the threat posed by Pakistan’s skipper and he is looking to bowl to his strengths to dismiss Pakistan’s skipper. He said:
“No doubt Babar is a world-class batsman. But as a bowler, my focus is always on backing my strengths. As a bowler, you do study the strong and weak points of the batsman you are bowling to. But at the same time, backing your my is important and that is bowling good line and length. If I do that then whoever the batsman is, I will get good results. I do watch their videos for planning but I believe in backing my own ability,”
