Indian batsman and Punjab Kings’ skipper KL Rahul, who recently underwent appendicitis surgery earlier this month, shared a few pictures of himself returning to working out at home on Instagram.
KL Rahul, who opens the game for Punjab Kings in the cash-rich league, missed their last league game against Delhi Capitals as he was rushed to the hospital after he complained of stomachache amid the now-suspended season of the IPL 2021. In his absence, Mayank Agarwal took over the captaincy duties. A couple of days later, IPL2021 was suspended mid-way because of the outbreak of COVID-19 cases within the bio-bubble.
KL is still recovering from the surgery and has been named in the Indian squad for the much-awaited World Test Championship final and the subsequent 5-match Test series against England.
Meanwhile, seems like the cricketer has been grinding hard to get fit again. Recently, he took to his social media and shared a few pictures of himself where he can be seen working out at home. In the first picture, the wicketkeeper-batsman can be seen doing light exercise with a kettlebell, while the second image shows him relaxing. In the third image, KL can be seen giving a candid pose.

However, the comment that stole all the attention on the post came from his rumored girlfriend and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty.
In her comment, Athiya Shetty decided not to use any words and instead left a ‘smiling sun’ emoji. Responding to this, KL posted a ‘moon’ emoji.
