Harbhajan Singh Trolled Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal On Twitter: On Thursday, the night curfew has been imposed by the Delhi government till April 30 to tackle a steep rise in the COVID-19 cases. The bold step came after the country reported over 1 lakh cases in a single day. On Monday, Delhi reported 3,548 new Covid-1919 cases, 2,936 recoveries, and 15 deaths.
In its order, the Delhi government said that the “sudden increase in Covid-19 cases” and “high positivity rate” meant a night curfew was needed. During these lockdown hours at night, those going for essential services and vaccinations will be allowed with e-passes.

However, the government made it clear that “there will be no restrictions on traffic movement during the night curfew”.
“People who want to get Covid-19 vaccination will be exempted but will have to get an e-pass. Shopkeepers selling essential goods like groceries, fruits, vegetables, milk, and medicine will be allowed to move after getting an e-pass. Print and electronic media will also be allowed to move only through e-pass,” the Delhi government’s order stated.
Meanwhile, the decision of the Delhi government was welcomed with mixed views. While there were many who supported the decision and said that it was the need of the hour, on the other hand, many claimed that a full lockdown is required in this situation.
Among many, Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh also took to his Twitter, however, he trolled the Delhi government for their decision. In his tweet, he took a sarcastic dig at the government by claiming that Corona comes out only in the night. He wrote:
“Yeah carona comes out only in the night.. not during the day so good decision”
