It looks like India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara, who will be seen playing his trade for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is adapting amazingly well to the demands of T20 cricket.

Well, ahead of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League, a video of Pujara has been going crazily viral on social media. In the video, shared by a Twitter user, Cheteshwar Pujara is seen smashing his fellow teammates to the cleaners. In the first ball, Pujara smashed Deepak Chahar over deep mid-wicket. In the next ball, he smashed spinner Karn Sharma through the onside.

In the video, Pujara can also be seen charging down the track to life the ball over the long-on boundary and took the aerial route over the extra-cover region in the final shot. The video of the same has been going viral on social media and the fans just can’t keep calm.

Here, watch the video:

MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings would hope Pujara takes this form into the tournament and score quick runs for the team. It was in 2014 when Pujara last batted in the IPL and has gone unsold in the auctions every year. However, this year he was bought by CSK at the 2021 IPL auction for his base price of INR 50 Lakhs.

Talking about CSK, ahead of the much-awaited season of IPL, the players of the team are grinding hard to make a comeback in style in this year’s IPL. The Dhoni-led team had a horrible campaign last year as they failed to reach the playoffs for the first time in their IPL history. CSK’s IPL 2021 journey will kick off with a match against Delhi Capitals on April 10 in Mumbai.
