As the Indian cricket team locked horns with England in the series opener of the 3-match ODI, Indian speedster Shardul Thakur came to India’s rescue as he struck thrice to help India bounce back into the game. Indian pacer Shardul Thakur has been receiving praises from all around for his brilliant performances.
In the ongoing 1st ODI against England, Shardul was on fire as team India was in a spot of bother. However, Thakur came into a bowl when Jonny Bairstow was going brilliantly and the game was slowly slipping out of their hands. However, Thakur made all the difference as he turned the game for India. He gave India a much-needed breakthrough and removed Bairstown and got India back in the game. Jonny missed his century by only 6 runs.

Soon after sending Bairstow back to the pavilion, Thakur picked up a couple of quick wickets and helped India get to the top. He removed Eoin Morgan (22) and Jos Buttler (2) to put England in a tough spot.
