KL Rahul’s poor run continued on Tuesday after he was dismissed for another duck in the third T20I against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He registered his second duck for the first time in his international career.
In the series opener, Rahul could only manage to score 1 before getting dismissed with a widish delivery from Mark Wood onto the stumps. In the second game, Rahul was dismissed off a 6 ball-duck after he was beautifully trapped by the young and talented Sam Curran.
In the 3rd T20I match, Rahul opened the innings for India along with Rohit Sharma, however, he failed to live up to the expectations of the fans after he was dismissed for a second consecutive duck after Wood demolished the stumps.
As soon as he was dismissed, Rahul was at the receiving end of criticism and trolling. While many raised fingers at his form, on the other hand, popular commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle slammed a Twitter user after he called Rahul an ‘underrated t20I cricketer’.
It happened after a Twitter user replied to Harsha’s tweet stating that KL Rahul is the most overrate T20 batsman as per him. The Twitter user wrote:

The tweet soon caught the attention of Harsha Bhogle, who was quick to come up with a reply to him. In his reply, Harsha gave it back to the troll and claimed that KL is an outstanding and world-class player, however, he is just going through a rough patch. Harsha wrote:
“What!! He is an outstanding, genuinely world class player. He is just going through a lean patch like everyone does at some point”
