Mohammed Siraj has become one of the most talked-about cricketers lately. From dealing with personal loss with a lot of maturity to providing another heartwarming moment as he celebrated the century of Ravichandran Ashwin on Day of the 2nd Test match between India and England – Siraj has been winning the hearts of his fans and is surely becoming one of the most likable cricketers going around.
Siraj played an instrumental role as he hung around with R Ashwin to help him get to a much-deserving century on a difficult pitch. Siraj was given a tough responsibility of seeing through tough overs, however, the cricketer managed to do that with much ease and maturity. Siraj stayed there in the middle with Ashwin for 9.1 overs as he faced 21 deliveries for an unbeaten 16.
And when Ashwin eventually got to his hundred in Moeen Ali’s over, it was the heart-winning reaction of Mohammed Siraj that stole the show, Siraj was seen punching the air in joy and celebrating his partner’s success.
Meanwhile, Siraj has been receiving praises for the past few days, however, one of the biggest compliments came from none other than the batting legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar took to his Twitter and appreciated the amazing gesture of Siraj as he celebrated the wicket of Ashwin. In his tweet, he also lauded the team efforts. He wrote:
