Twitter Deleted Kangana Ranaut’s Reply To Rohit Sharma After She Called Cricketers ‘Dhobi Ka Kutta’: International music sensation Rihanna created a stir on social media after she extended her support to the ongoing farmers’ protest. Following Rihanna’s tweet, the protest which has been going on in the nation’s capital gained international attention and soon several international activists and celebrities showed their support for the protest.

However, a day after Rihanna’s tweeted in support of the farmers’ protest, several Indian cricketers and celebrities condemned the statements by international celebrities and activities. Several cricketers including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, and many more urged the citizens of India to stay united at this difficult time.

Among many, Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma also took to his Twitter and expressed his solidarity with the Indian government. He wrote:

 “India has always been stronger when we all stand together and finding a solution is the need of the hour. Our farmers play an important role in our nation’s well being and I am sure everyone will play their roles to find a solution TOGETHER. #IndiaTogether.”

The tweet soon went viral and was flooded with mixed reactions from netizens. While there were many who appreciated the cricketer for taking a stand at this difficult time, on the other hand, there were many who trolled the cricketer for the same.

Among many, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also noticed the tweet and came up with a reply to it. In her tweet, she insulted Rohit Sharma and other cricketers by calling them ‘dhobi ka kutta’ and even went on to call the farmers ‘ terrorists’. She wrote:

Why all these cricketers sounding like dhobi ka kutta na ghar ka na ghat ka? Why would farmers be against laws which are revolutionary for their well-being. These are terrorists who are causing ruckus. Say that na…itna darr lagta hai?”

However, Kangana’s tweet was soon removed by Twitter after they noticed the derogatory comment. “We have taken action on Tweets that were in violation of the Twitter rules in line with our range of enforcement options,” the microblogging website said in a statement.
