Kevin Pietersen Shared Rahul Dravid’s Email To Help England Batsmen

Kevin Pietersen Shared Rahul Dravid’s Email To Help England Batsmen: Legendary Indian Cricketer Rahul Dravid is one of the greatest cricketers to have ever played this game. Over the years, he has trained and supported the young Indian talent to help them shape their future for team India.

Recently, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen revealed how Rahul Dravid came to his rescue as he shared that email with England batsmen Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley. KP’s comments came after both the batsmen – Crawley and Sibley got out cheaply in the final session of Day 2 to Sri Lanka left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldenya.

For context, KP was having a tough time against Bangladesh spinners during a series in 2010 and this is when KP sought help from the Indian legend Rahul Dravid, who explained the techniques to counter spinners in difficult conditions.

KP took to his social media and shared the email Dravid sent him years ago. In the long email, Dravid explained different ways to handle spin bowling and also highlighted the importance of not committing on the front foot and not worrying about getting beaten every now and then.

Sharing the email via his official Twitter handle, KP said that Crawley and Sibley can call him to discuss how to tackle spin as the email changed his game.

“Crawley & Sibley need to go find the email that Dravid sent me about playing spin. Changed my game,”

Hey @englandcricket, print this and give it to Sibley & Crawley. They can call me to discuss it at length if they want,”
