Watch: Mayank Agarwal Hits A Massive 102-Meter Six Off Nathan Lyon: The Day 3 of the ongoing fourth and the final Test match between India and Australia kickstarted on a shaky note, with team India losing the crucial wickets of skipper Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara.

After Cheteshwar Pujara’s dismissal, Mayank Agarwal came into bat and he looked the most comfortable among the Indian batsmen. Mayank was successful in dominating the Australian spin attack. He tackled the Aussie pacers with confidence and was brilliant with his footwork against the spinner Nathan Lyon. He also played a crucial spell by Mitchell Starc brilliantly.

By lunchtime, Agarwal has already made 38 runs off just 73 balls, smashing 3 fours and a maximum.

The humongous six came off Lyon’s delivery in the 58th over. Agarwal stepped out of his crease to play a massive shot for six against spinner Nathan Lyon. And the six went for a whopping 102-meters, making everyone jump on their seats. “He goes all the way over the rope”, the commentator highlighted.

The video of the maximum has been going viral on social media. Here, watch the video:

It was back in 2018 when Mayank had smashed similar shots against Lyon in 2018 at MCG as well. However, just when fans thoughts that he is back in his form, a poor shot selection cost him his wicket.

Soon after lunch, Mayank was trapped in Josh Hazlewood’s trick. Hazlewood bowled a good length delivery to Mayank, who showed no patience and threw his hands loosely at the ball. As a result, the ball hit the edge of his bat and moved towards the second slip, where Steve Smith was standing. Steve grabbed the difficult chance in his second attempt.

Meanwhile, the series is leveled at 1-1 and Australia posted a huge total of 369 runs at the Gabba. Team India desperately needs something special from the lower order to take down the Australian lead to a manageable level, in order to make a solid comeback in the second innings
