Watch: Mohammed Siraj Got Emotional During National Anthem In Sydney Test: Hearing the national anthem of your country surely brings immense joy to the heart. Over the years, we have seen cricketers from different countries showing their different sides while singing the national anthem. On Thursday, on Day1 of the third Test between India and Australia, the Indian fans got to witness one such incident.

Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj showed how much playing for his country really meant for him as he broke while the national anthem of India was being played.

Mohammed Siraj, who made a memorable debut in the longest format of the game for India in Melbourne, arrived in Sydney hoping to continue the same level of performance. He stood in the heart of the stadium shoulder-to-shoulder with his teammates as the national anthem started to play in the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, Siraj broke down.

Tears started rolling down his cheeks which Siraj casually wiped away. The video of the same was shared by the official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia.

Meanwhile talking about his performances, it has been an emotional series for Mohammed Siraj, who lost his father during the start of the tour. He gave an outstanding performance in the Boxing-Day Test match and became the first debutant for India in seven years to pick five wickets in a Test match. He finished with a five-wicket haul fr 77 runs in 36.3 overs.

He has been exceptional with the ball in his debut Test match and has successfully managed to get better of David Warner in the ongoing game as well.
