Maiden Half-Century Of Ajinkya Rahane As Captain: The Indian cricket team is currently locking its horns with Team Australia in the ongoing 2nd of the 4-match Test series. Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara resumed the game brilliantly for team India on 2nd day.
Luck seemed to be on India’s side from the start of the game, first Australia lost the review later Gill lived a charmed life and was dropped twice. In fact, Australian skipper Tim Paine also failed to complete a catch to dismiss Gill.

Ajinkya Rahane, the stand-in skipper of team India, played an incredible knock for team India. He formed a decent partnership with Hanuma Vihari (21 off 66 balls) and then with Rishabh Pant(29 off 40 balls).
Ajinkya Rahane completed his maiden half-century in Test as a skipper with a stunning boundary down the leg-side. This was also Rahane’s 23rd half-century in his Test career.
