Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has turned out to be an asset for the Men in Blue in the limited-format of the series. He is gradually evolving into a finisher for team India and it won’t be wrong to say that he is one of the finest T20 players in the game today.
Hardik Pandya first came into the limelight after he gave amazing performances for his IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, who signed him for a mere INR 10 lakh during the IPL 2015 auctions. And since then, there has been no turning back for the Baroda-based cricketer. Mumbai Indians have won four IPL titles with Hardik playing an important role in their victory.
It was just a year after his heroics for Mumbai Indians when the Indian cricket team was looking for a pace-bowling all-rounder before the two-crucial ICC events in England and this is when Pandya came into the picture. Team India decided to give Pandya a chance on the Australia tour of 2016.
After Pandya’s inclusion in team India, the team went on to win the Asia Cup 2016 and even reached the finals of ICC T20 World Cup, where they ended as the runner-up. Since then, there have been no turning backs for the cricketer. He has played many crucial knocks and has bowled magical spells to save the day for team India.
Before he made his way to the Indian national cricket team, Hardik played in multiple local tournaments. His journey has been nothing sort of inspirational.
Meanwhile, a video of Hardik Pandya has been going viral on Twitter, which has been taken from his official Facebook page. The video is from the Anand Premier League 2011 final, where Pandya can be seen destroying the opposition bowlers with his brilliance. Interestingly, Hardik was only 18-years-old when he played this terrific knock.
