Another match, another brilliant performance from Sir Ravindra Jadeja: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja gave a powerful performance to take the target of team India to 161 by the end of their innings during the first T20I match of the ongoing series between India and Australia.
Before the game kickstarted, Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first. This decision turned out to be great for the Australians as their bowlers gave a tough time to the Indian batting line-up.
The opening batsmen failed to give a solid start to the game as Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed on 1. Following him, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli also made his way towards the pavilion. He was dismissed off Mitchell Swepson’s delivery on 9 runs.
However, KL Rahul held the game tight and scored a half-century as he formed a decent partnership with Sanju Samson, who scored 23 off 15 runs. As the wickets kept falling, Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja came to India’s rescue and gave a strong finish to the game with his blockbuster knock.

Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten and took 23 runs off the 19th overs bowled by Josh Hazlewood to help India take the score a bit high. He scored 44 off 23 balls, smashing 5 fours and 1 six with a strike rate of 191.30.
