Well, seems like the kids of David Warner are no different. Recently, ahead of the upcoming series between team India and Australia, David Warner’s wife Candice Warner revealed that their middle child is a huge fan of Virat Kohli.

Candice revealed that their middle child’s favorite cricketer is not her father David Warner or any other Australian cricketer but the Indian skipper. For the unversed, Warner and Candice are proud parents to three daughters – Ivy-Mae (6), Indi-Rae (4), and Isla Rose (1).

Recently, speaking on a recent radio show, Candice Warner opened up about Warner’s family and talked a lot about her personal life. She was also asked whether they play backyard cricket or not. Responding to which, Candice said yes as she revealed that Indi-Rae wants to be Virat Kohli whenever she plays the game.

Candice revealed that while Indi-Rae is a big Kohli fan, her other child wants to be like her dad or sometimes Aaron Finch. She revealed:

We do play a little bit of backyard cricket. The funny thing is my girls, sometimes they wanna be dad, sometimes they wanna be Finchy (Aaron Finch) but my middle child, she wants to be Virat Kohli. And I am not even joking, her favourite player is Virat Kohli. She is the rebel,”

She further went on to reveal that Warner maintains his competitive spirit even during the backyard cricket, playing with his daughter. She hilariously revealed that sledding is also a part of their game. She said:

“The kids blow up because he bowls bouncers to them and they are only like 6 and 4. They are like ‘dad no bouncers or don’t spin the ball’. The sledging still happens in the backyard,”
