R Ashwin, over the years, has evolved as one of India’s wicket-takers in Tests in the last decade. He has also been one of the most successful cricketers in IPL history as well. He was a part of the Chennai Super Kings outlet in the 2010 and 2011 edition of IPL, while he has also been a part of other franchises as well including the likes of Rising Pune Supergiant and Kings XI Punjab.
In the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, Ravichandran Ashwin will be seen playing for Delhi Capitals. The Delhi-based franchise had roped in R Ashwin after a successful trade with KXIP ahead of the IPL 2020 auction in December last year.
So far, R Ashwin has played 139 IPL matches, where he picked up 125 wickets at an average of 26.43 and an economy rate of 6.79.
Lately, R Ashwin has been very active on social media. He has been keeping everyone entertained with his posts. Recently, R Ashwin took to his Instagram and shared a hilarious picture featuring various ‘actions for off-spin bowlers’.
Well, he shared a collage made by a fan from pictures showing Ashwin, Graeme Swann, and Ramesh Powar in their delivery stride. However, the funny side of the post was that the fan also sneaked in a picture of Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif striking a dance pose, which was strikingly similar to the other bowler’s delivery action.
Sharing the meme on his Instagram story, Ashwin tagged former Indian spinner Ramesh Powar and ex-England bowler Graeme Swann.

Meanwhile, the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League will kickstart from September 19th in UAE. A total of 60 matches will be played across three venues in the UAE — Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai, with the final clash taking place on November 10th.
