Former Indian cricketer and current BJP politician Gautam Gambhir is a man of words. Unlike other politicians, Gautam Gambhir never shies away from calling a spade a spade and take a stand against odds. He is often seen calling out Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his work and the promises he made during elections.

Lately, the Arvind Kejriwal led government has found themselves at the receiving end of criticism after the BJP government slammed them for spending 40 lakhs every day on advertisements. BJP with the help of an RTI found out that the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party has spent more than INR 40 lakhs every day on advertisements during the Coronavirus pandemic.
While giving a press conference on this issue on Friday, Adesh Kumar Gupta revealed that the information has been received from RTI, that in the last 4 months, Arvind Kejriwal led the government has spent INR 200 crores on advertising.
Adesh Kumar also slammed the government by stating: ‘On one hand the Delhi government says that they do not have money to pay salaries to employees, but on the other hand they have money to advertise Rs 40 lakh every day.’

On Saturday, Gautam Gambhir was at it again as he slammed Arvind Kejriwal for spending INR 40 lakhs every day on the advertisement and that too during the pandemic. In his tweet, he asked Arvind Kejriwal, how will he pay for the salaries when he is spending so much money on advertisements. He said:
“40 LAKH ON ADS EVERYDAY DURING A PANDEMIC! What a shame @ArvindKejriwal! तनख्वा के पैसे कहाँ से आएंगे जब सारा खज़ाना अपनी सूरत पर न्योछावर कर दिया?
